Hooray! Our DSGVO Online-Tool is here!

DSGVO: Data protection tool for creating a directory of processing activities – datenschutz-recht.at

The General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) will be directly applicable throughout the territory of the Union from May 25, 2018 and will entail numerous changes. By that date, all companies must have prepared the necessary documents in order to fulfill their obligations from the new legal situation. Otherwise there is a risk of sensitive fines: The fine from the old legal situation will be raised from up to EUR 25,000.00 to up to EUR 20 million or 4% of the worldwide annual turnover.

What is this all about?

The DSGVO stipulates that within the framework of your company you must document the purpose for which you process personal data. In order to fulfill this documentation obligation, you must (as the central document) compile a list of your processing activities (one processing activity is the processing of personal data for a certain purpose). To fulfill this obligation, we have created afree data protection tool which you can use to create the directory yourself in a simple and clear manner. The given fields only have to be filled out with the declarations provided. This way you can document each data application in detail and then download it as a clear document.

The online tool also has a large collection of definitions, which explain possible ambiguities.

If you choose the (chargeable) premium version(EUR 144,00 per year including VAT), you can not only

  • have access to a large number of ready-made templates, but also have the opportunity to
  • access to constantly updated drafts for contracts as well as sample texts and fill-in aids

Further information can be found at: https://datenschutz-recht.at

As a premium user, you will also receive regular information in case of any changes in the legal situation.

P.S.: For associations we have developed our own data protection tool at https://vereine.datenschutz-recht.at, which is tailored to the needs of associations and contains those data applications as templates that associations usually need.
