The Mariahilfer Straße has been redesigned: between Getreidemarkt and Kirchengasse is a meeting area, which means that cars are allowed to drive here (one way out of town) – but only up to Kirchengasse, then there is a pedestrian zone. You can’t park on Mariahilfer Straße. Parking: In the department store Leiner, Karl Schwaighofergasse, access from Mariahilfer Straße; Parking garage Stiftgasse, access from Mariahilfer Straße or Siebensterngasse. Taxis are allowed to drive and pick you up.
