By that date, all companies must have prepared the necessary documents in order to fulfill their obligations from the new legal situation. Otherwise there is a risk of sensitive fines: The fine from the old legal situation will be raised from up to EUR 25,000.00 to up to EUR 20 million or 4% of the worldwide annual turnover.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is this all about?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The DSGVO stipulates that within the framework of your company you must document the <u>purpose <\/u>for which you process personal data. In order to fulfill this documentation obligation, you must (as the central document) compile a list of your processing activities (one processing activity is the processing of personal data for a certain purpose). To fulfill this obligation, we have created a<u>free data protection tool<\/u> which you can use to create the directory yourself in a simple and clear manner. The given fields only have to be filled out with the declarations provided.
